Blue Note is already finding her ring around the planet that is our family.
Now five dogs deep, it seems the pack is complete. She loves our new-born son
and is incredibly gentle with him. I had been sent a picture of Blue Note
about a month ago and fell in love with her immediately. Sometimes it just feels right. Then I went down to ARFhouse Texas to meet her and to help bring back a bunch of her friends to be adopted with other ARFhouse volunteers.
Now she is home with us but her friends are still in need of their forever home!!!
I really hope someone adopts her sister Etta and all of the other dogs
we brought back. I can tell you first hand that they are all astonishing
dogs with absolutely wonderful and precise personalities. Ifrit is a smiler, and has a big loving heart! Edsel is noble and polite! Andy has a grand and indescribable mystique about him!
And Elaine is kooky but obviously brilliant! This is a success story for Blue Note but there are so many more success storiesto be had. I know that sounds cheesy and rather 'Sally Struthers.' But I have three ARFhouse dogs I've adopted, and I work at Mutt Hutt where theARFhouse dogs waiting to be adopted live, and I've been to the rescue ranch in Texas where they live until they come to Chicago... so I'm giving you as much honesty and experience that I can. If you stumble upon this success story while wondering
whether or not to enter the fostering or adoption or donation processes... at least come meet a few of the dogs... even if you are only looking to donate... come see exactly how loving and lovable these dogs are!!! They will melt every bit of your heart.
